Justa Victory Stables is excited to offer ownership shares in our newest claim, Tenacious Child, a 3-year-old New York-bred filly who we believe gives us plenty of options moving forward. Tenacious Child was claimed for $11,000 after finishing a strong 3rd at Finger Lakes on Monday, September 28th.

WHY THIS HORSE?​

• As a 3-year-old New York-bred filly, Tenacious Child still has plenty of conditions available to work through, giving us flexibility when placing her in future races.

• She has been a consistent runner and is averaging approximately $5,000 in earnings per start.

• Versatility

• Tenacious Child has posted consistent Beyer Speed Figures on both dirt and turf, and we believe her running style and versatility could translate well to synthetic surface this winter at Belmont Park.

• Her dam has already produced some very nice runners, including horses that improved as they matured. We believe Tenacious Child could continue to develop as she gets older.

• Coming In With Good Form. Tenacious  joins Justa Victory Stables off a 3rd-place finish at Finger Lakes on September 28th, giving us a filly who is already showing competitive form.

THE GAME PLAN

Our immediate plan is to race Tenacious Child once or twice more at Finger Lakes before the meet concludes on November 25th. Following the end of the Finger Lakes season, Tenacious Child will move to Belmont for the winter, where we will look for the right opportunities to continue progressing through her remaining conditions on the NYRA circuit. With conditions left and the ability to compete on multiple surfaces, we believe we will have plenty of options when placing her throughout the winter.
