At Justa Victory Stables, our primary mission is to offer the average thoroughbred racing fan the exciting opportunity to experience ownership in the Sport of Kings. We are dedicated to making this dream accessible to a wide range of enthusiasts.
JVS Stables is designed to cater to both first- time owners who are just beginning to explore horse racing ownership and more seasoned fans who wish to delve deeper into this incredible sport. We aim to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for everyone, regardless of their prior involvement.
We believe that thoroughbred ownership should be an enjoyable and fulfilling experience, and we are committed to guiding our owners every step of the way.
Meet our Managing Partner

John V. Sbrogna
John and his wife, Linda, have been married for 24 years and live in Leominster, Massachusetts, with their two Basset hounds, Marie and Antoinette. They have three grown children and five grandchildren. John honorably served six years in the United States Army Reserve at Fort Devens as a Military Police officer, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He recently retired from a successful career in the financial services industry.
John's passion for thoroughbred racing runs deep. Suffolk Downs in Boston, Massachusetts, was his home track until its closure in 2019, after which he shifted his focus to the NYRA circuit. His thoroughbred career began at Oakhurst Farm in Massachusetts, where he gained extensive experience in breeding, boarding, breaking, and foaling thoroughbreds.
Most recently, John helped manage a small stable with horses racing at NYRA, Monmouth, and Gulfstream Park. A lifelong racing fan, he fondly recalls rushing home at age 13 to watch the legendary Secretariat win the Belmont Stakes on his black and white television. John is incredibly excited to embark on this new
venture with Just Victory Stables and looks forward to sharing the exhilarating thoroughbred racing experience with all our
partners.
